The Whelen 295 Series Electric Siren is a compact, full-function siren platform designed for law enforcement, fire, and EMS vehicles. The series combines strong audible warning capability with practical communication features such as radio repeat and public address, making it suitable for both emergency response and on-scene traffic management.
The 295 Series is available in several configurations, including traditional self-contained units, remote siren amplifiers, single-tone systems, dual-tone systems, and models with handheld or full-function control heads. Depending on the model, the system can support one or two 100-watt speakers, programmable siren tones, lighting-control switches, and removable or hardwired microphones.
For vehicle installation, Whelen designed the 295 Series to fit into tight cabin spaces, including under-dash mounting locations. Backlit controls improve visibility during nighttime operation, while adjustable bail-mount hardware allows the control unit to be positioned for easier driver access.
