Whelen 600 Series Plus

The Whelen 600 Series Plus is a medium-profile surface-mount lighthead designed for emergency, utility, fire, EMS, and commercial fleet applications that need strong warning performance from a durable, versatile housing. Built around Whelen’s Linear-LED® optic technology, the updated 600 Series Plus provides bright, consistent illumination for both daytime and nighttime vehicle visibility.

The platform is available in SOLO™ and split-color configurations, allowing the lighthead to be tailored to different warning packages. SmartLED® versions contain their own electronics and flasher, eliminating the need for a separate external flasher, while steady-burn versions are available for installations where an external control system is preferred.

SmartLED SOLO models provide 33 Scan-Lock™ flash patterns, while split-color SmartLED configurations offer 62 Scan-Lock™ patterns. Multiple Whelen lightheads can also be synchronized for simultaneous or alternating operation, giving installers flexibility when building coordinated perimeter-warning packages.

The 600 Series Plus retains the same mounting footprint and accessory compatibility as the original Whelen 600 Series, making it particularly useful for upgrades and replacement installations. E Block™ watertight sealing, conformal-coated electronics, hard-coated lenses, and an IP67 environmental rating help protect the lighthead against moisture, vibration, road chemicals, salt, sunlight, and demanding fleet conditions
