Whelen 900 Series Plus

The Whelen 900 Series Plus is a large-profile LED lighthead designed to deliver maximum light output and broad wide-angle visibility for fire apparatus, EMS vehicles, commercial fleets, and other specialty vehicles. Using Whelen’s Linear-LED® optic technology, the 900 Series Plus provides bright, consistent output for warning and scene-lighting applications where wide-area visibility is important.

The platform is available in both SOLO™ and split-color configurations, allowing the lighthead to be tailored for different warning and operational requirements. SmartLED® models include self-contained electronics, eliminating the need for an external flasher, while steady-burn versions are available for systems using separate control or flasher modules.

SmartLED models provide 33 Scan-Lock™ flash patterns, including steady burn, along with synchronization capability for coordinated or alternating flash operation with other compatible Whelen devices. Single-level and dual-level combination configurations are available, giving installers additional flexibility when building larger apparatus warning packages.

The 900 Series Plus is built for demanding environments with E Block™ watertight sealing, conformal-coated electronics, hard-coated polycarbonate lenses, and an IP67 environmental rating. It also retains the same mounting footprint and accessories as the original Whelen 900 Series, making it useful for both new installations and upgrades to existing vehicles.
