The Whelen Arges® Remote Spotlight is a compact, remotely controlled vehicle spotlight designed to provide highly adjustable illumination for law enforcement, fire, EMS, search, roadside, and other public-safety operations. With 360 degrees of continuous rotation and 180 degrees of tilt, Arges allows operators to direct high-intensity light exactly where it is needed without leaving the vehicle.
Arges is available with either a dedicated 5-degree spotlight beam using Whelen Proclera® silicone optics or ProFocus™ technology, which provides an electronically adjustable beam ranging from a focused 5-degree spot to a broad 60-degree flood. The ProFocus design changes the beam pattern without moving optical components, allowing the same light to support long-range searching, scene illumination, traffic stops, and area lighting.
Control can be handled manually through a dedicated Arges control head or integrated and programmed through Whelen Command®. Available control heads use an intuitive paddle and push-button interface, while multiple mounting options allow Arges to be installed on vehicle fenders, lightbars, universal flat mounts, or other supported mounting locations. Vehicle-specific mounts are available for a wide range of law-enforcement and fleet platforms
The Arges housing is constructed from black die-cast aluminum with hard-coated lenses designed to withstand exposure to sun, sand, salt, road chemicals, and other demanding operating conditions. Arges produces up to 50% more brightness than Whelen’s PAR-46 replacement lamp, providing a powerful modern alternative to traditional vehicle spotlights, giving public-safety fleets a powerful modern alternative to traditional vehicle spotlights.
