Whelen Core-S®

The Whelen Core-S® is a compact, all-in-one vehicle control system designed for installations where space is limited, including under-dash and center-console locations. It combines dual siren capability, vehicle inputs and outputs, and advanced system control into a single streamlined unit, making it well suited for patrol vehicles, fire and EMS units, command vehicles, and utility applications.

Powered by WeCanX®, Core-S can communicate with and control up to 99 compatible devices, including Whelen lightbars, Tracer™, Arges®, siren components, and other WeCanX-enabled products. This allows the lighting, audible warning, and vehicle-control functions to work together as one coordinated system rather than as separate standalone components.

Core-S supports advanced technologies including Dynamic Variable Intensity™ (DVI™), Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Sync, and Tone Sync. It also supports Digital Voice Messaging (DVM), allowing prerecorded messages to be activated from the vehicle control system during traffic control, evacuations, incident management, and other operations.

The system includes two integrated 100-watt siren amplifiers capable of producing separate tones or frequencies and can be configured with integrated or remote control heads. Its expandable I/O architecture also allows additional modules to be added as vehicle requirements grow. Current Core-S systems include Core+ connected features at no additional cost and without a required subscription.
