The Whelen Edge® 9X is a versatile full-size warning lightbar designed to combine strong warning performance, durability, and extensive customization for law enforcement, fire, EMS, towing, DOT, utility, and other fleet applications. Built around Whelen Super-LED® technology, the Edge 9X provides powerful long-range visibility while offering a cost-conscious solution for agencies and fleets that need dependable emergency warning equipment.
Available in both short and tall profiles, the Edge 9X can be configured to accommodate a wide range of vehicle types and operational needs. SOLO™ and DUO™ Linear Super-LED® lightheads are available, along with optional take-down, alley, Brake/Tail/Turn, and scene-lighting functions. Dynamic Variable Intensity™ technology can gradually adjust warning-light output to help improve nighttime visibility and reduce excessive brightness around responders and motorists.
The Edge 9X uses WeCanX® control technology and supports programmable flash patterns through Whelen Command®. Multiple lengths, lens colors, top colors, warning-color combinations, and optional lighting modules allow the bar to be configured around the needs of a specific vehicle or fleet. Whelen also offers dedicated Towman’s™ Edge 9X configurations for towing and recovery applications.
