The Whelen Field Series® Brow Light is an advanced scene-lighting system designed to provide broad, adaptable illumination around fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, command vehicles, and other public-safety equipment. Its dynamic beam technology combines separate Near Field and Far Field optics to provide both close-range ground coverage and extended-distance illumination from one light assembly.
The Field Series uses Variable Power Distribution to dynamically control how light output is divided between the Near Field and Far Field optics. Operators can select low-power operation, balanced 50/50 output, or direct full power to the area where illumination is needed most. Segment control also allows specific portions of the light array to be activated independently, helping reduce glare and tailor lighting to the scene.
Selectable turn-on functionality allows either immediate or gradual activation, while the modular design uses replaceable light modules to simplify service and help reduce vehicle downtime. The Field Series is available in a wide range of lengths, mounting styles, and module counts, making it suitable for apparatus cabs, body sides, lightbar mounting, and other scene-lighting applications.
