The Whelen Freedom® IV is a versatile full-size warning lightbar designed to deliver powerful 360-degree visibility for law enforcement, fire, EMS, tow and recovery, utility, municipal, and other warning-fleet applications. Using Linear Super-LED® technology and Whelen’s advanced optical systems, the Freedom IV provides strong, dependable warning performance while offering extensive configuration flexibility for different vehicle and operational requirements.
The Freedom IV can be configured with SOLO™, DUO™, DYAD™, and Rota-Beam™ lighting technologies depending on the selected model. Available configurations provide options ranging from traditional single-color warning to independently controlled multi-color lightheads and solid-state rotating patterns. Compatible models can also incorporate Dynamic Variable Intensity™ technology to automatically adjust warning-light output for improved nighttime safety.
Multiple control technologies, lightbar lengths, lens styles, colored tops, warning colors, and optional lighting modules allow the Freedom IV to be tailored to the needs of individual vehicles and fleets. Available options can include alley lights, take-down lights, Brake/Tail/Turn functions, Traffic Advisor™ capability, photocell dimming, and other application-specific configurations.
