Whelen Headlight/Taillight Flasher

The Whelen Headlight / Taillight Flasher Series is designed to turn compatible factory vehicle lighting into an additional warning source for law enforcement, fire, EMS, utility, and service vehicles. By flashing the vehicle’s existing headlights, grille lights, or applicable rear lighting, these modules can improve vehicle visibility without requiring additional externally mounted warning lightheads.

Several configurations are available to accommodate different vehicle electrical systems. The SSFPOS is designed for positive-switched headlight circuits, while the UHF2150A supports either positive or negative headlight switching. Both provide two high-current outputs and Scan-Lock™ pattern control, allowing the flash behavior to be tailored to the installation.

A vehicle-specific SSFFP16 configuration is also available for certain 2016–2019 Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles equipped with Ford’s factory 60A pre-wire option. This plug-and-play design simplifies integration where the required OEM preparation is already present.

The flasher modules use fully encapsulated, solid-state electronics for resistance to moisture, vibration, and corrosion. With 12 VDC operation, high-current outputs, and multiple flash-pattern options, the series provides a practical way to add additional warning presence while maintaining a clean, integrated installation.
