Whelen HHS5200 Control System

The Whelen HHS5200 is a next-generation 200-watt siren amplifier designed for modern emergency-vehicle installations requiring powerful audible warning, programmable vehicle functions, and integration with Whelen’s current WeCanX® ecosystem. Its compact, low-profile housing makes it easier to incorporate into patrol vehicles, fire and EMS units, command vehicles, and other public-safety builds where equipment space is limited.

A new Class D amplifier improves operating efficiency while providing dependable high-output siren performance. The HHS5200 also expands installation flexibility with a 10–30 VDC operating range, allowing it to work across a broader range of vehicle electrical systems than earlier HHS platforms.

The HHS5200 integrates directly with WeCanX-compatible warning equipment and can be paired with Whelen Core® control heads. Lighting, siren, Arges® spotlight, V2V synchronization, and other compatible functions can therefore be incorporated into a coordinated vehicle warning system while allowing the operator interface to be selected separately for the particular build.

Digital Voice Messaging (DVM) capability is available for prerecorded instructions during evacuations, traffic stops, incident scenes, and other situations where clear public communication is needed. The HHS5200 also supports Vehicle-to-Vehicle Sync, allowing compatible WeCanX-equipped vehicles operating near one another to coordinate lighting and audible warning behavior.
