The Whelen Inner Edge® FST™ is a vehicle-specific interior warning lightbar designed primarily for law enforcement and public-safety vehicles that need strong forward-facing warning performance while maintaining a low-profile, discreet exterior appearance. Mounted along the upper windshield near the visor area, the FST follows the contours of the vehicle for a clean fit while its vehicle-specific housing helps reduce flashback into the passenger compartment.
The Inner Edge FST is available with SOLO™, DUO™, and TRIO™ Super-LED® lightheads, allowing single-, dual-, or three-color warning configurations depending on the selected model. Whelen’s Proclera® optic technology uses silicone optics to focus and amplify LED output, while BroadBand Blue™ technology is available to provide increased blue-light intensity and a larger optical image.
Control options include WeCanX® and Low Current configurations. Individual colors can be programmed and controlled independently, providing flexibility for warning patterns, take-down functions, and vehicle-specific operational requirements. The system offers 38 Scan-Lock™ flash patterns and is available in driver/passenger-side or passenger-side-only configurations depending on the vehicle and model.
