Whelen Inner Edge XLP

The Whelen Inner Edge® XLP is an ultra-low-profile interior warning lightbar designed for law enforcement and public-safety vehicles that need powerful forward warning performance while maintaining a discreet exterior appearance. Mounted at the vehicle’s front visor and positioned tightly against the windshield, the XLP is designed to be nearly invisible from outside the vehicle when not in use, making it especially well suited for patrol, unmarked, command, and specialty vehicles.

The Inner Edge XLP uses high-intensity Super-LED® lightheads in available SOLO™ and DUO™ configurations. Whelen’s Proclera® optic technology uses silicone optics to focus and amplify LED output, while the vehicle-specific housing helps minimize flashback into the passenger compartment. Its smaller lighthead footprint also makes the XLP even more compact than the Inner Edge FST.

Available WeCanX® control configurations provide advanced system integration, while Low Current options are available for energy-efficient operation. Each warning color can be individually programmed on compatible configurations, and 38 Scan-Lock™ flash patterns allow the system to be tailored to agency and operational requirements.
