The Whelen M2 is a compact, high-intensity surface-mounted warning lighthead designed for law enforcement, fire, EMS, utility, and other public-safety vehicles. Part of Whelen’s M Series®, the M2 combines a low-profile rounded rectangular design with powerful Super-LED® and Linear Super-LED® optics, making it well suited for grilles, push bumpers, body panels, and other mounting locations where space is limited.
The M2 is available in both TIR and Linear optical configurations, with SOLO™, split-color, and DUO™ models depending on the version selected. SmartLED® electronics provide self-contained flash control without the need for external flashers or power supplies, while Scan-Lock™ and synchronization allow multiple Whelen devices to operate with coordinated or alternating flash patterns. Linear models also support Dynamic Variable Intensity™ and Steady-Lock™ compatibility with Whelen Core® systems.
Built for demanding environments, the M2 features hard-coated, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses, conformal-coated electronics, and E Block™ watertight protection. Clear, colored, and smoked lens options are available depending on the model, along with multiple mounting accessories and flange choices for a clean, vehicle-specific installation.
