The Whelen M7 is a high-performance surface-mounted lighthead designed for fire, EMS, utility, commercial, and public-safety vehicles that require broad, powerful warning coverage. Its wide rectangular design uses Linear Super-LED® optics to deliver bright, consistent illumination while maintaining relatively low current draw.
The M7 is available in SOLO™, Split-Color, and DUO™ warning configurations, along with dedicated scene-light models. SmartLED® electronics provide self-contained flash control, while Scan-Lock™ and synchronization allow multiple Whelen devices to operate with coordinated or alternating flash patterns. Compatible SOLO™ and DUO™ models also feature Dynamic Variable Intensity™ (DVI™) to gradually adjust light output for improved nighttime visibility and scene safety.
For demanding installations, the M7 incorporates hard-coated lenses, conformal-coated electronics, and E Block™ watertight protection on compatible DUO™ models. The lighthead is rated IP67 and is available with multiple flange, bracket, adapter, and protective mounting accessories to accommodate different vehicle applications.
