The Whelen Mirror-Beam™ Series is a vehicle-specific warning-light solution designed to integrate directly with exterior side mirrors. Each housing is custom molded to fit over the vehicle’s existing mirror glamour cap, creating a clean, factory-style appearance while adding high-visibility side warning without obstructing the driver’s view.
Mirror-Beam uses ION® Series lightheads and can be configured with SOLO™, Split-Color, DUO™, TRIO™, or V-Series™ lighting depending on the selected setup. This gives agencies flexibility to build anything from a straightforward single-color side-warning package to multi-color warning and auxiliary-lighting configurations.
Integrated SmartLED® electronics provide Scan-Lock™ flash-pattern control and synchronization capability, allowing multiple compatible Whelen devices to operate together or alternate as part of a coordinated warning system. Available smoked lenses help maintain a more discreet appearance when the lights are not active, which can be especially useful on patrol, unmarked, and command vehicles.
The Mirror-Beam housing uses textured black ABS construction with hard-coated lenses designed to resist environmental damage from sun, sand, salt, and road chemicals. Vehicle-specific housings are available for several popular public-safety platforms, including Chevrolet Tahoe and Blazer EV PPV, Dodge Charger and Durango, and Ford Police Interceptor Utility applications.
