The Whelen Outer Edge® Rear Spoiler is a vehicle-specific rear-facing warning system designed to provide powerful emergency visibility while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance. Two independent housings mount directly to the vehicle’s rear spoiler and contain a total of six ION™ Super-LED® lightheads, adding strong rear warning coverage without obstructing the rear window or significantly altering the vehicle’s aerodynamic profile.
Designed for law enforcement, fire, and other public-safety applications, the Outer Edge Rear Spoiler provides additional warning visibility during traffic stops, accident scenes, roadside operations, and emergency response. Vehicle-specific housings follow the shape of compatible vehicles for a professional installation that looks integrated rather than added on.
The system is available with SOLO™, DUO™, and TRIO™ ION™ Super-LED® lightheads, allowing single-, dual-, or three-color configurations depending on the selected model. Control options include WeCanX®, and Low Current, while Scan-Lock™ provides programmable flash-pattern control. Low Current SOLO™ models can also provide Traffic Advisor™ directional warning functionality.
Clear and smoked lens options allow the system to be configured for either maximum daytime visibility or a more discreet appearance when deactivated. Smoked-lens configurations retain SAE Class 1 certification.
