The Whelen Pioneer Micro™ is a compact, high-output scene light designed for law enforcement, fire, EMS, construction, utility, and other fleet applications where strong illumination is needed in a small footprint. Its Super-LED® light source provides instant full-output illumination, while a 5,700° Kelvin color temperature produces a bright white light intended to simulate midday daylight for improved visibility at scenes and work areas.
A removable lens retainer allows the optic to be changed quickly, making the Pioneer Micro adaptable to different lighting needs. The standard 8° spotlight lens can be replaced with included 40° × 20° flood, 40° × 8° narrow-flood, or 90° × 20° wide-flood optics, giving the same light the ability to handle focused long-range illumination or broader scene coverage.
The Pioneer Micro is available with multiple mounting styles, including stud, recessed, pole, and pedestal configurations, along with black or white housings. Its die-cast aluminum construction, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses, solid-state electronics, and IP67 environmental rating make it suitable for demanding public-safety and fleet environments.
