The Whelen Pioneer Nano™ is the smallest and most compact member of the Pioneer™ white-lighting family, designed to deliver strong scene illumination where mounting space is limited. Its compact footprint makes it well suited for law enforcement, fire, EMS, utility, and specialty vehicles that need focused scene or work lighting without a large housing.
The Pioneer Nano uses Super-LED® technology and is available in 3-LED or 6-LED configurations. A standard 8° spotlight optic provides focused long-range illumination, while an additional 40° × 20° flood lens is included for broader scene coverage. The removable lens retainer allows the optic to be changed quickly as lighting needs change.
With a 5,700° Kelvin color temperature, the Pioneer Nano produces bright white illumination designed to simulate midday daylight for improved visibility around emergency scenes, roadside work areas, and nighttime operations. Its die-cast aluminum housing, hard-coated polycarbonate lens, solid-state electronics, and IP67 environmental rating make it suitable for demanding fleet environments.
