The Whelen Pioneer Plus™ is a high-output scene and work light designed for emergency vehicles, fire apparatus, rescue units, utility trucks, and other fleet applications requiring powerful white illumination. Using Super-LED® technology and Whelen’s Proclera® Silicone Optics, Pioneer Plus provides focused, efficient light output for emergency scenes, roadside operations, large work areas, and nighttime vehicle operations.
Pioneer Plus is available in single- or dual-panel configurations with flood, spotlight, or combination flood/spot optics. Combination models use Proclera® optics to provide both broad area illumination and concentrated long-range lighting from the same assembly. Its 5,700 Kelvin color temperature is designed to simulate bright midday light for improved visibility and scene clarity.
Multiple mounting configurations allow Pioneer Plus to be adapted to a wide variety of vehicles and operating environments. Available options include bail-bracket mounting, surface mounting, semi-recessed housings, pole or pedestal mounting, brow-mount applications, and mounting to compatible Whelen lightbars. Both 12/24 VDC and select 115 VAC models are available.
Built with a powder-coated die-cast aluminum housing, hard-coated impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses, solid-state electronics, and an IP67 environmental rating, Pioneer Plus is designed for reliable service in demanding environments.
