The Whelen Pioneer Summit™ Brow Light is a high-output scene-lighting system designed for fire apparatus, rescue vehicles, command vehicles, utility trucks, and other public-safety applications that require broad, dependable illumination around the vehicle. Its rooftop-mounted design combines strong white illumination with a low-profile, durable housing suited for nighttime rescues, roadside operations, emergency scenes, and other demanding work environments.
The Pioneer Summit is available with preconfigured spot, flood, or scene optics using Whelen’s Proclera® Optic Technology, which uses 100% silicone optics to amplify and focus LED output. Larger configurations can combine multiple optical types within the same light array, allowing separate control of spot, flood, and scene functions so operators can direct illumination where it is needed most.
Multiple lengths, housing colors, module configurations, and mounting options allow the Pioneer Summit to be tailored to different apparatus and vehicle layouts. Available configurations can also incorporate amber clearance and identification lighting, along with Amber, Blue, Red, or Red/Blue warning-light modules on select models.
Built with a die-cast aluminum housing, impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses, 100% solid-state electronics, and an IP67 environmental rating, the Pioneer Summit is designed for dependable service in harsh fleet environments.
