Whelen SmartLogic™ Programmable Flasher

The Whelen SmartLogic™ SLFLASH Programmable Flasher is an advanced 8-output lighting controller designed for emergency, utility, municipal, and service vehicles that need more flexibility than a basic fixed-pattern flasher. It allows multiple warning-light circuits to be coordinated through one compact module while providing programmable operating modes for different vehicle conditions.

SmartLogic provides 64 programmable flash patterns along with customizable day and night modes, adjustable cruise-light settings, and programmable switching behavior. This gives installers the ability to tailor the vehicle’s warning package for emergency response, roadside operations, low-light environments, and other operating conditions rather than relying on one fixed lighting sequence.

The SLFLASH includes eight outputs rated at 5 amps each and eight inputs, including five activating inputs plus dedicated inputs for Low Power, photocell operation, and brake/tail/turn cutoff. Each output is internally protected and fused, while onboard LED indicators provide immediate diagnostic information for active outputs and fuse conditions.

Programming and firmware updates are handled through an accessible USB connection, simplifying setup and future configuration changes. An optional LCPHOTO photocell can also be added to automatically adjust lighting behavior based on surrounding light conditions. Fully encapsulated solid-state construction helps protect the module against moisture, vibration, and corrosion in demanding fleet environments.
