The Whelen Traffic Advisor™ 2200 Series is a low-profile directional warning-light array designed for public-safety, municipal, utility, and work-truck applications. It uses Whelen T-Series™ Super-LED® lightheads to provide bright, clearly visible directional signaling for traffic control around accident scenes, lane closures, roadway work, and other roadside operations.
The 2200 Series is available in 6-light and 8-light configurations, with 32-inch and 42-inch lengths. Operators can select Left, Right, Split, or Warning functions, making the system useful for guiding traffic around stopped emergency vehicles, maintenance operations, and temporary work zones.
A TACTL5 control head is included, giving the operator dedicated control over the directional functions. For vehicles being built around Whelen’s current WeCanX® architecture, the array can also be integrated using the optional CTA WeCanX Traffic Advisor Remote Module.
The 2200 Series is built for demanding exterior service with E Block™ watertight sealing, hard-coated lenses, an IP67 environmental rating, and 10–30 VDC operation. Its compact profile and slide-bolt mounting make it a strong option for patrol vehicles, SUVs, utility trucks, municipal fleets, and other vehicles where space and durability are important.
