Whelen Traffic Advisor™ Flat Mount

The Whelen Traffic Advisor™ Flat Mount is a directional warning-light array designed to provide clear traffic guidance at accident scenes, roadway incidents, work zones, and other roadside operations. Its durable extruded-aluminum housing supports both interior and exterior installation, making it suitable for law enforcement, fire, EMS, DOT, utility, towing, and municipal fleet vehicles.

The Flat Mount family is offered in 6-light and 8-light configurations with either traditional 500 Series 5mm LED lightheads or higher-output 500 Series TIR6™ Super-LED® optics. Whelen also offers split-style configurations, providing additional flexibility when a single continuous light array cannot be installed because of vehicle doors, windows, equipment, or body design.

Operators can select four directional sequences—Left, Right, Split, and Warning—along with seven Scan-Lock™ flash patterns. A TACTL5 control head is included, providing dedicated control of the Traffic Advisor functions from inside the vehicle.

The Flat Mount is constructed for demanding fleet environments with hard-coated lenses, fully encapsulated electronics, and an aluminum housing designed to resist moisture, vibration, corrosion, sunlight, salt, sand, and road chemicals. Surface- and slide-bolt mounting options further allow the installation to be adapted to the vehicle and intended mounting location.
