Whelen Traffic Advisor™ Front Load

The Whelen Traffic Advisor™ Front Load is a directional warning-light array designed to improve traffic control around emergency scenes, roadway incidents, utility operations, and municipal work zones. Its durable extruded-aluminum housing supports both interior and exterior installation, making it a flexible option for police, fire, EMS, DOT, utility, and service vehicles.

The Front Load series is available in 6-light and 8-light configurations and supports four directional functions: Left Arrow, Right Arrow, Split Arrow, and Warning. Seven Scan-Lock™ flash patterns provide additional flexibility for different traffic-control and warning applications.

Several optical configurations are available within the series, including 500 Series Linear-LED®, CON3™ Super-LED®, and DUO™ Super-LED® models.. This allows the system to be tailored for standard amber directional use or for configurations that combine traffic-directing functions with additional warning colors.

The housing is fully encapsulated for resistance to moisture, vibration, and corrosion, while hard-coated lenses help protect against sand, sunlight, salt, and road chemicals. Standard models include the TACTL5 control head, providing a dedicated operator interface for directional-light functions.
