Whelen Traffic Advisor™ Rear Slot Mount

The Whelen Traffic Advisor™ Rear Slot Mount is a directional warning-light array designed for traffic management, roadside safety, and incident-scene operations. Its low-profile extruded-aluminum housing supports both interior and exterior mounting, making it suitable for law enforcement, fire, EMS, DOT, utility, towing, and municipal fleet vehicles.

The series is available with either TIR3™ or LINZ6™ Super-LED® optics and in 6-light or 8-light configurations. Operators can select Left Arrow, Right Arrow, Split Arrow, or Warning functions, while seven Scan-Lock™ flash patterns provide additional flexibility for different traffic-control situations.

Standard configurations can be built as full directional arrays, while select 8-light models can use six directional lightheads with two end warning flashers. Those end warning positions may be configured in Amber, Blue, and/or Red, allowing the Traffic Advisor to provide both directional guidance and supplemental emergency warning from the same assembly.

The Rear Slot Mount uses hard-coated lenses, fully encapsulated electronics, and an extruded-aluminum housing for resistance to moisture, vibration, corrosion, salt, sunlight, and road chemicals. A TACTL5 control head is included with select configurations, providing dedicated control of the directional functions.
