The Whelen WSSC Siren is a compact, heavy-duty 30-watt siren and speaker combination designed for specialty vehicles where mounting space is limited. By combining the siren amplifier and speaker into one rugged unit, the WSSC is especially well suited for motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other compact emergency or public-safety vehicles.
The WSSC provides hands-free operation and four operating modes, allowing the operator to access audible-warning functions without adding a large conventional siren control system. Ten Scan-Lock™ siren tones are available, giving departments flexibility to select the warning sound that best fits the application.
Two primary versions are available. The WSSC30 combines the 30-watt siren and speaker in one self-contained package, while the WSSPA30 adds public-address capability for vehicles that also need voice communication. Both configurations require customer-supplied switches for control.
The WSSC is built for harsh, high-vibration environments with a durable black plastic housing and water-resistant connectors that help protect against moisture, dirt, and debris. A two-way L-style mounting bracket is included, allowing the unit to be securely positioned on a variety of specialty vehicles.
