The PDU-8S Power Distribution Unit provides a centralized solution for organizing and distributing power to vehicle-mounted electrical equipment. Designed for emergency, public safety, commercial, fleet, and specialty vehicle applications, it brings battery power, ignition-controlled power, timed power, and ground connections together in one organized location.
The unit provides 24 terminal-block outputs divided into three groups: eight continuous battery outputs, eight ignition-controlled outputs, and eight timed outputs. This layout makes it easier to manage multiple electrical accessories while maintaining a clean and easily traceable wiring system.
Programmable low-battery voltage shutdown and programmable timed shutdown help manage accessory loads when the vehicle is parked or unattended. Zero-current consumption in sleep mode helps further reduce unnecessary battery drain.
The PDU-8S also provides visual circuit-condition indication to assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting. Its centralized design helps simplify installation, service, and future electrical additions while reducing unnecessary interaction with factory vehicle wiring.
